Vegglifjell forms the southeastern end shoulder of the Hardangervidda, one of Norway's national mountain and northern Europe's largest mountain plateau.
Runtime is approximately two hours from Oslo and from the cities in Vestfold, and its access by Kongsberg and up Numedal along highway 40 to Veggli.
Vegglifjell has become a very popular holiday area with a well developed network of ski trails.
More than 80 km of trails are groomed throughout the winter. Path and trail work is organized in cooperation between landowners, cabin owners, municipalities and local businesses.
A rural area is hidden in the hilly terrain and does little to them in the landscape.
