Per Bremnes lives in Bergen. By profession he is Nature Inspectorate of Bergen and has been this since 1990. He has done research about traffic over Hardangervidda in over 20 years and led several trips across Hardangervidda with this theme.

Combined road/ski tunne on Vegglifjell
Ski tunnel in the summer - roadtunnel in the vinter.
One day the mayor of Tin - Eirik Haatvedt - a phone call from his colleague in Rollag, Steinar Berthelsen - who asked for a meeting in the middle of the mountains. When the mayors met Steinar Berthelsen introduced the idea of a combined ski and road tunnel in the mountains between Rollag and Pewter.
This bold idea had been conceived in a creative gathering in Rollag, and the mayor thought the idea was so good that he wanted to air it with his colleague on the other side of the mountain. The mayors decided afterwards decided to make some informal discussions with both ski environment and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. |

We are located 850 meters above sea level, on the threshold of Hardangervidda. By visiting us, both young and old have an eventful close with all our weird and funny animals.
We have cabins for rent, catering and banquet and meeting facilities.
The essential groceries and newspapers are available in the café, where we also serve hot food and good drinks.
You will find us in Numedal, 1 mil from Veggli center.

Dining: The café seats approximately 200 people indoors, and there is a large and cosy outdoor seating approximately 80 people. It is also a snack bar next to the terrace for those who want a quick and easy meal or a small treat.
We offer a variety of activities for both young and starting from inn. Have not you always wanted to try how it is to run the rail tricycle? A number of other activities are cycling, rail tricycle-Minigolf-canoe rental-fishing in Numedlaslågen or in the mountains and bathing ponds.
